Nurzat Zheenbek is an artist, sculptor, and designer, President of the "Craft Council of Kyrgyzstan," and the official national representative of the World Crafts Council (WCC AISBL) in Kyrgyzstan.

For more than two decades, her professional and creative work has been dedicated to the preservation, development, and contemporary reinterpretation of Kyrgyzstan's craft heritage. In her practice, Nurzat combines the traditional knowledge of artisans, natural materials, and the cultural code of nomadic civilisation with contemporary art, design, and fashion.

As head of the "Craft Council of Kyrgyzstan," she develops international cooperation, represents the country's craft community at major international platforms, and creates opportunities for professional dialogue between artisans, designers, cultural institutions, and representatives of creative industries from different countries.

In her authorial work, felt occupies a special place. Through sculptural forms, art objects, and the clothing-sculpture brand she created.
