Nikhil Mehra is a distinguished Indian fashion designer and the co-founder of the couture label Shantnu & Nikhil, alongside his brother, Shantanu Mehra. While his brother pursued a corporate career, Nikhil followed his passion for fashion, earning a diploma from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York. His education in one of the world's fashion capitals equipped him with the design skills and creative vision that would become the foundation of their brand. In 2000, Nikhil partnered with his brother to establish the House of Shantnu & Nikhil. He is the creative force behind the brand's unique design philosophy, which is characterized by its dramatic draping, androgynous silhouettes, and sophisticated military aesthetic.
