Phnom Penh Designers Week was co-founded by Sophea Ke and Don Protasio in 2013. The platform emerged to fill a gap for local and expatriate creators in Phnom Penh for a venue to showcase their collections. It has grown into a major bi-annual event and Cambodia's most influential fashion showcase, bringing together established and emerging designers.

Don Protasio has been a designer of his namesake brand since 2006. One of his passion is to discover and mentor young fashion designers. He has been invited to give workshops and mentorships in fashion design around the region.
