Russian clothing brand Sveta Rodina Brand Founder: professional designer and artist Svetlana Rodina

Svetlana Rodina was born and raised in Moscow. She graduated from the Stroganov State Academy of Design and Applied Arts and subsequently completed a course in Costume Design at the British Higher School of Art and Design (Britanka).

Svetlana’s entire career has been linked to fashion. She is a former model who worked in Paris and Milan—including with Roberto Cavalli and historic fashion houses. A buyer and stylist with over 20 years of experience, she has served as the Managing Director for Manolo Blahnik in Russia, works as an analyst of seasonal trends and Pantone colors, speaks at Moscow Fashion Week plenary sessions, and consults for top executives at the Mercury Group. She has collaborated with major glossy magazines and online publications, including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Buro, and InStyle.

In March 2016, she launched her own clothing brand, Loom by Rodina. In 2026, the brand underwent a rebranding, changing its name to Sveta Rodina.
