Active in fashion media since 2000, she has recently joined Saudi media platform Gems of Arabia as Editor at Large. Susan co founded the non-profit Egyptian Fashion & Design Council in 2017 and has since then championed the support and promotion of emerging and established designers in Egypt and internationally and connecting the wider Egyptian fashion and textile industry. She runs the steering committee and organisation of Egypt Fashion Week, now in its upcoming 3rd edition. She is a member of the prestigious BOF500 list and a well recognised and well connected figure in the international fashion industry.
