Sarah Hermez, a graduate of Parsons the New School for Design and Eugene Lang the New School for Liberal Arts, represents visionary leadership in fashion and design education. Collaborating with mentor Caroline Simonelli, she co-founded Creative Space Beirut in 2011. This social enterprise is dedicated to empowering and uplifting young talents from diverse and vulnerable backgrounds in the SWANA region through high-quality, tuition-free education in fashion design. Committed to inclusivity, innovation, and collaboration, CSB shapes the next generation of design leaders. Over twelve years, Sarah has led the institution with determination, mastering the art of pivoting and persisting to advance its mission and nurture talent, while also sharing her insights and experiences through talks and summits worldwide.
