Philma Kelegai is the founder and managing director of Papua New Guinea Fashion Week and a leading advocate for Pacific fashion on the international stage. Through nearly a decade of work, she has built a platform that brings designers, models, artists and entrepreneurs together, opening pathways from local communities to global audiences. Under her leadership, PNG Fashion Week has grown beyond the runway into a meeting place for fashion, business and cultural exchange, welcoming creatives from across the Pacific, Australia and Asia. In 2026, she launched the Pacific Fashion Summit to advance conversations about enterprise, sustainability and the future of the creative industries.
