Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries, Chief Executive Officer of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF). Before heading RDIF in 2011, Kirill Dmitriev led major private equity funds and completed a number of landmark deals for Russia with GE, Société Générale, Fidelity Investments, and others. He began his career at Goldman Sachs and McKinsey & Company. Kirill Dmitriev was appointed by the President of Russia as a member of the BRICS and APEC Business Councils and serves on the boards of directors of leading Russian companies. In 2011, Kirill Dmitriev became the only Russian representative in the "100 Most Influential People in the Private Equity Industry over the Past 10 Years" ranking (Private Equity International) and is included in the World Economic Forum's list of "Young Global Leaders." He has been awarded high state honours by Russia, Saudi Arabia, France, Kazakhstan, and other countries for exceptional services.
