Karina Díaz Vargas is a Costa Rican entrepreneur recognized for her leadership in sustainability, social inclusion, and cultural diplomacy in fashion. As CEO of Costa Rica Fashion Week Forever Green, I have positioned the country as a Latin American benchmark in sustainable fashion. I am the founder of the SDG Action Foundation, where I developed projects for vulnerable women, indigenous communities, and environmental conservation. With more than 15 years of experience in international events and strategic alliances, I have represented Costa Rica at forums such as the BRICS+ Fashion Summit, the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, and fashion events in Europe and the Americas. I have been recognized by Forbes Central America as one of the 50 most powerful women in the region (2024 and 2025) and received the International Award for the Best Sustainable Fashion Week in Latin America at SIMA 41 (2025).
