Karina Díaz Vargas is a Costa Rican fashion industry leader dedicated to promoting sustainable fashion from Latin America, connecting the region with Europe through her work with ICEPS (Italy). Three months ago she received the Marca Esencial Costa Rica recognition, an honor reflecting years of work positioning the national industry on the world stage.

Her international path began on runways such as Intermoda Mexico, and she recently took part in Colombiamoda (Medellín), where she strengthened ties with the Inexmoda team with a view to bringing that alliance to Central America.

One of the spaces that has most shaped her career is the BRICS+ Fashion Summit in Moscow, which she has attended for three consecutive years and where she is a member of the BRICS committee.
