Xie Fangming serves as Sole-duty Vice President of China Fashion Association (CFA), a national non-profit industry social organization in China. He is also the Director of China Fashion Week, the flagship platform of CFA and also the oldest and largest fashion week in China, leading domestic international fashion cooperation, industrial cluster collaboration and designer incubation initiatives. Under his leadership, China Fashion Week has expanded beyond Beijing to the globe. He has facilitated Chinese designers’ participation in fashion events in London, Moscow and other global destinations, deepening BRICS related and Sino-Russian bilateral fashion exchanges and building Eurasian fashion cooperation networks. The association aims to foster a complete ecosystem for designers, empower the upgrading of textile apparel industrial clusters and revitalize intangible cultural heritage apparel techniques.
