Russian entrepreneur, co-founder and Development Director of the children's clothing brand Choupette. In 2007, Anastasia and her sister Natalia Alexandrova decided to create high-quality, beautiful, and affordable clothing for their own children and those of their friends. At the time, the market was dominated either by luxury brands with inaccessible prices or by mass-market offerings that failed to satisfy in terms of quality. The team also included a Frenchman who came up with the name Choupette — a neologism blending French and English, roughly meaning "a favourite found in a cabbage."
Nine months passed from the idea to the release of the first collection — Anastasia notes the symbolism of this term for the children's industry. For the first collection, they went to Italy to purchase fabrics, even though those around them predicted bankruptcy: newcomers typically work with stock fabrics.
Anastasia is responsible for strategic development, sales, and the partner network.
