
Fursin
Aleksei Fursin was born on December 1, 1974. From 1997 to 2000, he worked as a specialist in federal government bodies dealing with land and property relations. From 2000 to 2016, he held senior positions in various divisions of the Ministry of Property Relations of the Russian Federation, Rosimushchestvo, the Federal Computer Center for Stock and Commodity Information Technologies, and the Federal Fund for Housing Development. In September 2016, he was appointed First Deputy Head—and later Head—of the Moscow Department of Science, Industrial Policy, and Entrepreneurship. On September 21, 2018, he was appointed Head of the Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development, where he focused on fostering innovation and small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as establishing infrastructure and support systems for the creative industries in the capital. On September 27, 2023, he was appointed a Minister of the Moscow Government and Head of the Moscow Department of Culture.
