More than half of buyers say that augmented reality technologies significantly influence their purchase decision.
At the same time, there is a growing demand for 3D fashion design and digital tools for creating collections, while blockchain technologies help combat counterfeiting and ensure transparency of supply. However, the industry is facing a personnel challenge — an acute shortage of specialists capable of combining creative skills with modern digital tools is forcing a rethink of approaches to fashion education.
